Charles Brown

Founder & CEO

Charles is a graduate of the Rutgers School of Social Work where he focused on a masters degree in social work administration.  In 1994, Charles started work in the field as a case manager at a homeless shelter and worked with consumers with serious and persistent mental health problems.  Years later, Charles became an in-home therapist working with adolescents and families.  In 2003, Charles started a Care Management Agency in Camden County which became the largest CMO in the State.

Charles entered the adult community after Charles' step son entered the adult DDD system. He experienced first hand the need for a strong support system and the importance of community, awareness, and opportunities. Charles realized with his passion for his field, skill set, and knowledge from years of experience, he could provide individuals and families with opportunities, information, and support.

In 2016, Partnership For Successful Living was started.  Partners For Successful Living services all counties in New Jersey and takes pride in our relationships and skill set.

Cheri Lee Brown

Director Of Operations

Cheri comes to PSL with a multitude of experience in operations.  Her duties include AP/AR, Human Resources, IT, Billing, payroll, and staff support.

Cheri's favorite part of the job is when students from Durand come for their work assignments.  She has worked with them building gardens and various simple office duties.

Leah Bennet

Support Coordinator Supervisor/ Regional Director 

Leah graduated with a Bachelors degree in Sociology from Temple University.  She began working with children in the PA school system as a Therapeutic Support Staff.  At Head Start Leah worked as a Family Support Worker for six years.  In 2010 Leah relocated to NJ where she was a Program administrator of 21 Plus residential home for adults with developmental disabilities for seven years and then transitioned to Program administrator for 21 plus day program.

Katherine Marquez

Support Coordinator Supervisor/ regional director 

Katherine Marquez has a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Rowan University and an Associates degree in science from Camden County College. She has over 25 years of experience in clinical case management, nursing, and community based support services. Katherine is a powerful force in the workplace and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage, assist, and link individuals to community support services to help them live their best life. In addition, Katherine specializes in working with the Latino population to bridge the gaps in healthcare.

Susan Brennan

Support Coordinator 

Susan has a BA in Psychology from Kean University. Her experience includes; teachers aid in autism classrooms (self-contained and inclusion) and supervisor at a day habilitation program. She is a mother of 3, two with autism.  After her children entered elementary school and the world of IEPs and the child study team, she made it her life's passion to learn all there was to know about getting the most and best help for her children. They are all adults now and she continues that passion with her clients at Partnership for Successful Living. 

Lindsey Amodio

Support Coordinator Supervisor /Regional Director 

Lindsey comes to PSL with a BA in psychology from Temple University and MS in Administration of Human Services from Chestnut Hill College.
She has 15 years experience with social/human services field. 10 years specifically with individual with intellectual or developmental disabilities, mental health and medical needs in the areas of applied behavior analysis, behavioral, employment, vocational, residential services. 
Lindsey has a life of experience with her older sibling that has Autism.

Kristine Foglia

Support Coordinator 

Kris has a BA in Psychology from Trenton State College/College of New Jersey. She started in marketing and moved to sales. After her youngest daughter was diagnosed with Autism, is nonspeaking and with significant behaviors, Kris entered the special education world. Soon after she decided to work with the adult population. She is dedicated to providing the individuals she works with respect and the best support so they can live their best life possible.

Raymond Adams

Support Coordinator 

Ray comes to PSL with a BA in Psychology from Rowan University. His experience includes
Archway Programs Partial Care Services (Assistant Program Supervisor/Human Services Counselor). Inspira Health Network, School Based Youth Services Program (Student Support Counselor). During undergrad, Ray wanted to be a teacher, but after taking several psychology courses he gravitated toward a career of helping people in other ways outside of a traditional classroom setting. As a Support Coordinator Ray is passionate about his individuals and does a great job getting them the services they need to live their best life.

Lauren Hanson

Support Coordinator 

Lauren graduated from Indiana University with a dual degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. She then went on to earn Master’s degree from Cabrini University. After eight years of being in the classroom and watching students grow, prosper, and graduate, Lauren decided that she wanted to help individuals and families navigate supports to foster success once they have exited the education system. Lauren enjoys working with individuals with special needs to help them become more integrated and involved in the community. Lauren’s extensive background in special education has allowed her to excel as a Support Coordinator. She is passionate about advocating for and serving the individuals she works with. Lauren is driven to help others achieve their goals and reach their highest potential.

Meghan Hoell Balestrieri

Support Coordinator 

Meghan Has a BA in Human services and Psychology from Ottawa University. Meghan is a mother of 3, 2 who have been diagnosed with Developmental disabilities. Megan was case manager at Abilities Solutions work program. She worked with employment services and ran programs and classes to help with social and living skills. Meghan volunteers at the Center for Family Services in their SERV (supporting and Empowering the Rights of Victims)Program. She is an advocate for women of domestic violence and sexual assault, working hand in hand with the local police departments and hospitals.

Robert Roth

Support Coordinator 

Rob comes to PSL with a BA in Health Promotion and Fitness Management from Rowan University, Glassboro, NJ. After several years working as an Operations' Manager in fitness facilities Rob decided to change his career path. He has the ability to understand peoples needs and deliver results. He has a true passion for helping individuals achieve their goal.

Katelyn Morales

Support Coordinator 

Katelyn has a BS in Psychology with a minor in Special education.  She worked at S.P.I.N. (Special People in the Northeast) for 3 years with their preschool Autism program. She has 7 year's experience working as a teachers aid (one to one) with students age range 7 to21 at the Y.A.L.E. school. Began working for Partnership for Successful Living in September of 2019.

Karl Werner

Support Coordinator 

Karl has a BS in Computer Science/Business from Stockton State College NJ. Karl is an Authentic Happiness Life Coach Trainer. Karl has many years experience as a Software Engineer. In those years Karl developed skills to work in diverse environments and has very strong leadership skills. In 2018 Karl shifted gears in his career and became a Support Coordination. His compassion and dedication to the individuals he serves is outstanding.

Paul Rogers

Support Coordinator 

Paul received his BA in Psychology from Rowan University in 2012. With an aspiration of helping others, Paul started in direct care as a Support professional leading up to Senior Direct Support within one of south Jersey's leading DDD providers. With hopes to expand his career within the field, Paul had the opportunity to become a Support Coordinator where he is able to apply the foundation and principles he learned from his experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. In his free time Paul enjoy's fishing, being outdoors, spending time with his wife, daughter and his 2 dogs Odie and Harley.

Jennifer Zawada

Support Coordinator 

Jennifer has a BS in Psychology and Masters degree in Human Resource Management. She began her career working with at-risk youth as a probation officer. She then worked several years as a case manager and then as an assistant director of a Partial care day program for adults with developmental, mental health, and drug addiction disorder. Jennifer then spent four years as a program administrator of DDD group homes and supervised apartments. As a Support Coordinator Jennifer pulls from all her career experience and passion to provide the best support to the individual's she serves.

Kelly Wood

Support Coordinator 

Kelly has BA in Visual Arts from Stockton University. Kelly was a Program Associate at a group home for developmentally disabled adults. This is where her passion for helping developmentally disabled individuals and their families started. After a brief career change, Kelly came back to the field as a Support Coordinator for PSL. Her drive and compassion aid her in going above and beyond for the individuals and their families that she serves.

Brian Newman

Support Coordinator 

Brian is a graduate of Rowan University with a B.A. in Psychology and a M.A. in Applied Psychology where he focused on counseling. Brian started work in the field working with HIV/AIDS population specializing in Aid’s dementia complex. As Brian’s career went on he worked as a case manager with mentally ill adults, dual diagnosed adults and children, addiction services, and developmentally disabled adults and children. Brian then worked as a therapist for 17 years with children and adolescents who were being adopted or in foster care addressing grief and loss issues. Brian then moved on to manage the Crisis Center at Jefferson Hospital Cherry Hill conducting screenings of adults and children with mental health issues and developmental disabilities and providing linkage to services once individuals were discharged. Brian also currently is an adjunct professor at Camden County College teaching psychology courses. In 2022, Brian found a passion working with adults with developmental disabilities and started his career as a Support Coordinator. Brian’s passion started while working at the crisis center and seeing how people with disabilities were serviced differently than other individuals. Brian felt this issue needed to change and began working in the field to help the individuals with disabilities be treated better.

Alexis Ackerman

Support Coordinator 

Alexis comes to PSL with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Monmouth University and an Associate’s Degree in Social Science in American Sign Language Interpreting from Ocean County College.  She has a combined 20 years of experience working with children and adults with developmental disabilities with co-occurring disorders. Throughout her career, Alexis has worked as a long-term substitute teacher and 1-1 aide for children with special needs, provided outpatient in home case management for adults with mental health diagnoses, and over 11 years’ experience working with adults with developmental disabilities providing various levels of support in a residential setting.

Nikaury Medina

Support Coordinator 

Nikaury comes to PSL with a BA in social and behavioral sciences with a concentration in Policies, Justice, and Administration and a minor in social work from seton hall university. She started her career working with at risk youth for the care management organization of hudson county. Nikaury is focused on providing the best quality of care for the DDD population and hopes to connect spanish speaking families with resources they may need.

Jennifer Childs

Support Coordinator 

My name is Jennifer Childs. Throughout my childhood, I was involved in sports and was a member of the 2000 Group 3 state championship basketball team for Willingboro High. I would go on to play basketball for Rutgers University- Camden for two seasons before transferring to Morgan State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in physical education, concentration in Sports Administration. Although, my intentions were to become an Athletic Director/Basketball coach, I began working for Bello Machre, serving people with developmental disabilities, as a Weekend Family Living Director. Upon graduating from Morgan State University, I moved back to NJ and started working as a direct support professional. I worked my way up to a group home manager, opening two group homes in Ocean County. This enabled me to enhance my skills overseeing multiple group homes, supervised apartments, and working with directors to assist in managing residential programs. In December 2021, I began working as a support coordinator for Partnership for Successful Living.

Stephanie Schneider Linnert

Support Coordinator 

Stephanie has a BA in Social Work from Stockton University with a minor in Gerontology and an Associate’s degree in Letters, Arts, and Sciences from Penn State University. While at Penn State, Stephanie was paired up with a school companion program to help work with a student with a disability. At this point, she discovered a whole new world and passion. Stephanie then transferred to Stockton to focus on Social Work. Stephanie has worked in the field for over 15 years, from working in a group home at 21 Plus (support staff to program administrator) to becoming a Program Director overseeing multiple sites in Ocean County. Stephanie also oversaw Family Support Services for 21 Plus, Inc. providing families in the community with respite services, creating and implementing social clubs, day trips, and overnight vacations. Stephanie has four children, one who was diagnosed with Autism and another with multiple health issues. Stephanie had to become her children’s best advocate in getting them the services they deserved and needed, not only in the school system but through the PreformCare children’s system in NJ. Stephanie loves to give back to her community. She has dedicated the last 13 years to volunteering for Waretown PTO and Ocean County Mothers of Multiples in providing programs, resources, and fundraising for these organizations and the children/families they support. 

Stephanie Gonzales-Ramirez

Support Coordinator 

Stephanie graduated with an associate’s degree from Camden County College and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University-Camden. After graduation, Stephanie began her career at Bancroft Lindens Residential, an organization nationally recognized for its behavioral stabilization program for children and youth with profound autism. During her time there, she noticed language barriers in the Hispanic community and wanted to know more about what’s next once they turned 21. This reminded Stephanie of when her sister, Christine, had recently graduated from High school and they too did not know what services were available to her. With the guidance of PSL coordination, her sister, Christine, is now thriving in her Day program. Soon after, This sparked an interest in Stephanie and she began her journey at PSL hoping, to spread awareness of what services are out there for the DDD population and bridge the gap for the Hispanic community.
